Tough tough night. We’ve had tougher from teams way worse than this. They are exceptional at the moment. Best front 3/ 4 in world football. Mbappe is a joy to watch. Clearly the best striker on the planet. We can catch them again but not any time soon.

mcpoint was basing it on one replay which was from a not very helpful angle. i assume that mcatee was bending forward outside the box, but havent seen a side on replay

the var would have seen a side on replay as they check everything.

People get far too wound up about the match day thread. We know it's infested with rags and dippers and windup.merchants but people correctly saying when we're playing shit or saying that top players are sadly past their best isn't being disloyal to what they've done for us. The players can't see what's being written here and at the game it's totally different. Here it's people venting with no consequences for the performance.

as long as you agree that we are positioned in different and often slanted body positions then no i dont. its not cricket, it doesnt depend on foot position at all its where the foul occurs, which if you are not massively biased like every crazy beered up city fan on this forum you’ll see that the foul is outside even though the legs are potentially on the line

Well we started the season decent enough but as soon as we lost him we turned to shit.

Same as the previous other 2 or 3 seasons when he didn't play.
