Great movement from haaland for his goal. He made that himself

Thoughts at half time are around how Southampton are adrift at the bottom. We have played far worse teams.
Lavia was really cool when he turned away from our players and played the ball out to the left - looks a real player.
Jack played a massive part in our goal - brilliant to win the ball back and find Kev.

The commentators were saying this earlier: Erling does this to defenders.

He’ll not do much for 40 minutes, they’ll be looking at each other thinking they’ve done very well to keep him quiet and they’ll keep doing it, and then he comes out of nowhere to score, and they have no idea what just happened. Before you know it he has a hat trick and they’re standing their completely dumbfounded.
Like the Joel Garner of football…whispering death…

Boring. The no right back is going to cost us at some point against better opposition. Mahrez shite away from home yet again, no wonder he’s rarely trusted.

Nervy 1st half with a lot of sloppiness, got the vital goal out of nothing really. That Akanji Mahrez combo down our right side is not working, we are losing the ball there too often.
Kev sloppy but then pings in two superb crosses for Erling.
We need to kill this early doors 2nd half and then we can enjoy the rest of our Saturday evening.
