They are a decent side, in fact if they had some quality up top they would not be in trouble

I said in the pre-match thread that there are no poor teams in the Prem this season, not one relegation fodder team. There are about eight or nine 11th-14th level teams yet they can’t all fit in 11th-14th.

Southampton look very fit and their defensive tactics have been good, if not helped by City being far too slow in possession.

Very frustrating half from us. It's a lackluster performance, Very sloppy and slow paced with the ball.

Hopefully that goal gives us a lift going into the second half.

Whenever we move the ball quickly we are causing problems, Very easy to defend against for large parts of that half with the tempo being so slow. Let's move through the gears and get the next goal.

Lavia is a fantastic player by the way, Would love him back at City he would fit right in.
