We've looked no better in the last few months than when we were challenging Spurs for the top 4.....Which we'll be doing again if we continue to be so abject and lethargic.
 
Why don't we take a risk for once and put Bony up top with Aguero. There's 5 players around Sergio boxing him in, get a man up there with him so he can drop off and drag defenders out with him.

Ever since Barca dicked us last year, we've dropped the 442 and decided to swarm the pitch with number 10s, it doesn't work, it just leaves Sergio isolated trying to get on the end of long crosses against 2 centre backs.
 
Get silva off now been utter garbage since his return from injury. Put de bruyne through the middle and navas out on the right hand side then at 65 get bony on
 
Poor first half.no urgency or desire bar 2 or 3 players if pep is to take over he's got his work cut out sorting this lot out,no disrespect but we look like a team going through the motions with nothing to play for shocking...

Terrible. No positives as far as I'm concerned.

Was clear after 10 seconds that it was going to be the usual half-arsed performance - just watch it back and see what happens from our kick-off. Embarrassing at any level.

Awful tactics, being implemented by a group of players who think that hard work and effort is beneath them. Recipe for disaster. Can only hope the second half is like Moenchengladbach. Not holding my breath though.

For what it's worth I 'd get Sterling right up front, and play Silva and De Bruyne narrow ahead of Toure and Fernandinho. Those two, Yaya and Aguero surely have to get closer together - the gaps between our players are staggering.
 
Something is wrong. We have fantastic quality players and yet we can't beat a second rate outfit like Watford. We know exactly what pellegrino is going to do in the second half- wait till 60 minutes and take off aguero and bring on bony to no avail. Turgid!!!
