We’re extremely fortunate to be ahead. Created virtually nothing. Lost complete control of the midfield. We’re “just surviving” repeated Wolves attacks and offering no real threat on the counter or in possession.

The officials are quickly losing what little control they had over the game. Those Wolves supporters should be thanking the officials. They’ve had the better of the decisions. The red was harsh on examination and the penalty was the correct decision. The retake was also correct as the player encroaching cleared the ball.

It’s yet another game where we’ve seen this defence make a fool of themselves. The January window can’t come soon enough. We desperately need defensive reinforcements. Banking on things substantially improving once Laporte returns is a fools gamble. You can’t bet your season on one player staying fit all season.
