Leroy stinking the place out sadly. Shows how good he can be with a great run, and then walks slowly about really deep as City attack, with Zinchenko vastly further forward than him. Not good.
That overlap run by Z when Silva was forward. It was begging for Sane to press forward. He was on a stroll after he passed it though. Stayed 10-15 yds back behind the action.

What if all teams played like this? Such a fun game to watch. Biggest difference is one side is going at 110%, one is at about 80%.

I also dont get anyone complaining about Rodri. He is amazing in a crowd. So calm.
Absolutely
Rodri IS a ball winning machine
He is the ideal replacement for Fernandinho
Brilliant signing

Save for de Bruyne, nobody alongside or ahead of him is doing the same amount of work in both directions. That will inevitably lead to gaps.

Do wonder why so few Japanese players have made the transition to Europe. Technically and physically very good, so why is that still the case?

Rodri has a bad touch of the Gundogans out of possession. All too often he’s jogging back out of position letting his marker ghost by him, hopefully seeing Fernandinho in action when he’s back will knock that out of him quickly otherwise that’s going to make us vulnerable.

All this talk of Walker looking weak but Zinchenko on the opposite side has been all over the shop positionally.

Bravo looking good, kdb looking fit and on it and Sterling showing he can play upfront all positives.

Their keeper is a lunatic. some genuinely excellent sweeping before the Sane foul. There was one point where I thought he was going to dribble out upto the halfway line, hope the yellow card doesn’t stifle him it was very entertaining.
