Times reporting we've already moved on to this guy....Completely different type of player to Jorginho and likely to cost alot more, so unless we all of a sudden willing to lift our budget for a midfielder, cant see this happening. Also still in the World cup, so will miss a pre-season with Pep. (main reason we went after Jorginho) This all just feels like we moving from one midfielder to another until someone agrees to sign for us....

Our transfer policy raises too many questions. Jorginho and Kovacic don’t even play the same midfield roles, so how the fuck can one be an alternative to the other? We need a pivot, refuse to pay a little bit more for the best one available and then instead move onto a more expensive player that doesn’t play as a pivot. Fucked up strategy this.
