Ugh. Bernie's really warming up of late. I hope something changes as at this point I'd rather have the security of him for another 3-4 seasons than the promise of Jude.Philips out for kovacic.

Obviously I'd rather Gundo stays, but Kovacic would definitely be a welcome addition. Bernardo is probably gone and I'd see him more as an upgrade on Phillips than anything else (on his City form so far, anyway). We'll definitely need a couple of midfielders and if one is costing over 100 million, then the other might need to be a bargain.

I really hope you are correct re Bernardo. Jude will need time to settle. Of all the players potentially leaving, his departure will be hard to fill. Not impossible but still.I think Bernie is staying.

Kovacic can play as a 6 and 8, I wonder if we see him as a cheaper Rodri back up.

Funds are not a problem,we'll lose a dozen players this summer and some for very good money.

I just can’t see anyone in Spain bidding for Bernado and PSG is the only real option. I just think Pep wants him and will keep him no matter what, when does his contract end? Could see him leaving on a free one day or him changing his mind, but not us selling him in the meantime.
