I remember watching him against us whilst at Sporting and he had a really strong game against a midfield of Rodri, Bernardo and KDB I believe. There's a player in there definitely. I think people's opinion would be different if we were purchasing him from Sporting and not Wolves. Definitely a bit of premier league snobbery going on here.
If Pep rates him, which he clearly said he did, there’s a good player in there, and one he could make even better. Playing in a poor Wolves side will make a player look a lot worse than playing in our side

I'm not talking about Romano or any other social media type. I don't even go on twitter. I'm talking about people trashing players that Pep and the club are actually pursuing. Some of those may not be someone's cup of tea, but I'd hardly think City would be in the business of bringing in shite players.
So that's what I'm saying. I hope that helps clarify my point for you.

As far as annoying any snowflake strangers on here, I can't speak to that basically because I'm no snowflake. So I do hope that's not what you're insinuating.

And yes some of the overly assured bashers on here are annoying as fuck....to me.
Turns out kalvin is shit so they do make mistakes

Absolutely. I remember my sons and I were amazed how the ball could seem tied to his boots for so long and how he could not be knocked off the ball at all. Then in early June we went for a week in N. Wales. Bernardo arrived in Manchester to sign for United (!), City went to 100-1 on to sign him, he signed and we hoped that he would be joined by Benjamin Mendy - but that took a little longer.

I never took notice of rag links at the time tbh but saved this one for the sheer stupidity...

I haven't been on Facebook for years probably not long after but look out for that rag, if you ever see him comment he's an idiot bigtime even by typical rag standards he's comedy gold.

I do wonder about some of the people that are so adamant that players are going to flop. If said player has a great game, maybe scores or plays an influential part, do they double down, refuse to celebrate or hold their hands up? I’m more realistically assuming it’s all for the benefit of the ‘internet’.

You make a great point about talented attacking players failing to shine in teams that are struggling. It isn’t just the lack of possession, but also the fear of trying things, losing the ball, lack of confidence, that undermines players when teams that are struggling. We saw it for enough years. I suspect he would be a different proposition entirely in a team with 75% plus possession and Rodri behind him. I hope we get him, and oddly for the reasons stated above, his departure might not weaken Wolves too much, and the money can be used wisely. I think your owners have looked at the three promoted clubs, plus Everton, and thought we can totally re-set here and just about get away with it. I hope so, I like the hostility of Molineux, once a year, no more.
Agree about Nunes, not sure about the hostility of Molyneux though, was there last season and everyone was sitting in the safe standing right from the off
