Apparently it was true that he originally did not want to move to Wolves.
I can understand why he didn't want to pass up the chance to come here.

We don’t need a character like this. I will be amazed if we do business under these circumstances. We should walk away and be public about it. He’s not worth the the hassle. He isn’t good enough to be a regular starter, imagine the sulk. Sounds like a right dick..

Loving the Bluemoon hot-takes.

The double standard on this board for prospective player behaviors is so tiring. If we want a player: "Why doesn't he push for a move", anyone else pressing for a move: "he's a right dick- we should demand high character players in this side."
WTF.
Like anyone on this board has ever been remotely in a situation that Nunes is in- he sees his chance to join what is likely a dream squad that will impact his career and future greatly whilst his club is dragging their feet holding out for more money as the window approaches it's end.

It’s common knowledge that Bernardo wanted to leave for the past two or three seasons. Imagine if he had done this.
It’s behaviour I cannot get behind, if true he is behaving like a twat. People go on strike to protect pay and conditions when faced with an awkward, dogmatic employer. Doing it because you want a bigger pay day at a better club leaves a bad taste..

There were reports of him sulking if he's not happy, going on strike is out of order. We might well have another Cancelo type character if we're not careful. Caveat Emptor! (buyer beware)
Mahrez went on a strike. Didn't Fernandinho do the same at Shakhtar? Anyway, like some other posters, I think it's overblown in this case. We don't know anything about his personality other than what some vague reports told us about him allegedly "going on a strike," so I wouldn't make any comparisons to Cancelo.

Some people were saying earlier in this thread that he has a punchable face, etc. For me, that's childish. I trust Pep, Txiki, Bernardo, and Ruben. If they all say he is our man, he must have a great personality, like everyone else wanted (so no Cancelo) at City.

You have to look at this sensibly.

If he has gone on strike......maybe he feels its necessary to ensure he doesn't miss out on a once in a lifetime opportunity that will change his career and his future.

Be honest, how many on here would sit back and allow to happen without doing everything in your power to try and affect it?

I cant blame him one bit.
