We don’t need a character like this. I will be amazed if we do business under these circumstances. We should walk away and be public about it. He’s not worth the the hassle. He isn’t good enough to be a regular starter, imagine the sulk. Sounds like a right dick..

I can see both sides of this and generally my standard position would be to remain professional. However, if they're being greedy because they got themselves in a shitpile with their finances, and Nunez is the one who potentially has to pay/miss out, then that feels a bit unfair. I doubt we'll ever know all the details but best of luck to him, hope he comes here and absolutely smashes it.
 
If he’s felt like he’s had to stop training then our second bid is clearly not good enough either. And it was reported at the time that that was our take it or leave it offer.
 
The good thing is if this is in his character to be a bell end, should he ever want to try it here we’ll just banish him like Cancelo. So whilst it may be a shit way to get what he wants, it’s the last time he’ll do it.
 
Idk if he goes on strike as long as he ends up at city for a reasonable fee. If this helps both of those situations then great.

Look at Cancelo, proper fucked city from getting a fee that represents his footballing ability.
