Think you could be right. No worries though. Doubt this kid would have made a difference to our season. Personally never cared whether he signed or not. If he is/ went on strike then he gets what he deserves..

Whilst I agree Nunes himself may not have had a huge impact the sheer lack of bodies will imo. We are woefully short in midfield and pep has made it pretty clear he wants another one in. We haven’t had the best window imo

We wanted Bellingham. We wanted Rice. They both went elsewhere.
We didn't have a plan C after that. We've been in disarray since KDB got hurt, neither Nunes nor Paqueta are 'elite' players imo.
Either Maddison or Ward-Prowse would have been a better signing than Nunes or Paqueta.
All about opinions of course, but I think we missed the bus midfield-wise this window.

We are not privy to what he signed. Maybe wolves are being greedy and not letting the player go for a certain fee due to how the market has gotten volatile and want to make more out of the player?

Brighton and Tottenham recently did it to their players. Maybe said player needs to be more careful with what they are signing in the first place.

I can understand being unbothered whether we sign Nunes specifically, but I can’t comprehend anyone thinking we don’t need anyone else at all. We have, what, 13 senior outfield players available (discounting Phillips as he is not even a football player at this point). How can that be enough? We only have 2 injuries right now and our bench is almost entirely kids.

Is he? We all know players get used all the time. Who is to say this is not happening now and the player is rightly fucked off? It’s hard to feel sympathy for the multi millionaire idiot player I get it. All im saying is that it’s not clear. Could be a dick anyway -:)

Sometimes I just don’t get our strategy, it’s late in the window, and since when did any club accept an opening offer?

Mendes is driving this. What if his agent has overplayed his hand to city? I bet the club after Paq were happy to leave signing a midfielder but then Mendes has seen a chance to get his player a move and make money. Player can’t believe his luck and is now huffing.

City probably don’t care if wolves accept or not.
