I've just got an update from my sources that there is a 100% a chance that something will either happen or not happen.

If you want me to verify that, it'll cost you a tenner.

I'd want it to be accompanied by pics of you in a leather jock strap for that (preferably leather, although rubber acceptable). That, for me, will confirm that your sources are sound.

I understand the club has its valuations of what a player is worth and wants to hold firm to it but when the difference is only 5M, you'd expect them to bite the bullet once every blue moon. Especially when there are only two days left in the window.

I agree- but I think it's this dogged negotiating that has seen us through the last 10+ years which have been relatively fruitful. I kind of like that our money men won't roll over like everyone else. That said, I'd like them to bite the proverbial bullet this time.

That sums up why selling Palmer this late in the window would be foolish. Especially when you consider Doku's injury history.
I think it strengthens the case for selling Palmer for £30m+, & investing the money in Ezé who can play as a left/right winger (as can Doku), plus he's equally adept as a No 8, plus No 10.

He's got the creative skills & versatlity which Pep likes.

Paqueta 85m
Nunes 55m

Is Paqueta really 30m better than Nunes? For me Nunes at 60m still represents very good value especially considering the market right now, and not signing him at this late stage, when we all know we want a midfielder (see Rice and Paqueta) would be a poor decision.

85m combined for Nunes and Kovacic? Sign me up.
