It's not gospel. In the end we never really get to know, exactly. First he reported the first offer was rejected, then the the original was, now it's more. These feckers blow smoke to cover their tracks so next time you don't remember they were talking bollocks and guessing all along. Why does ornstein quote in euros between 2 English clubs when it comes to City signings? Didn't quote euros for City selling Palmer.
I know it doesnt alter the figures but the optics of the figure look inflated for the brain dead
