A mate of mine is a Wolves season ticket holder...

He says he may shine in a top team as he has shown flashes of brilliance on occasion, but he's very surprised we're in for him. He said he loses possession too much and his general passing is no where near good enough for a Guardiola/City side.

Tbf I’ll rely on Pep & City’s assessment over a Wolves fan watching him in their team. If anyone is going to make him him in our team it’ll be Pep.

We are not signing him because of the G+A. His take-ons, progressive passes, and carries are exceptional. He is REALLY FAST. He is a hard worker, box-to-box type, press-resistant, and has the ability to play through balls and dribble. For me, he is like a mixture of Jack, Kovacic, and Bernardo. Obviously, not as good (yet), but a great prospect. Most importantly, Pep rates him extremely highly. Perhaps most importantly, gives Rodri a rest due to his significant defensive contribution.

Yeah fair enough, but Kovacic can't play attacking mid, he isn't going to suddenly develop into a world beater, I guess Foden/Bernardo will play there. I mean I think he's a solid player, but I was hoping for some creativity is all my friend :)

He's a better option than Paqueta.

Very debatable, probably the only part that is not that we have targeted Paqueta before him and also looks like we where willing to spend more on him.

I was quite excited about Paqueta, but I know I was in a minority.

Plus I had £20 on him joining (the irony)

Yeah this is my take... he's the exact same player, but younger with better speed. I honestly thought we were in for creativity now KDB is injured, but more importantly somehow filling the gap Gundo left, he scored in HUGE games at pivotal times, won us the FACup etc. We don't need tidy players, we need players who can produce moments of magic. Maybe Foden will be the guy now. That just means Grealish will play every game which worries me just a tad as his form has plummeted recently
