Gundogan could also leave. The only way I see him playing for City would be if Guardiola takes Gundo down to 6 and Matheus Nunes takes his place.

The only source you have to believe coming from Portugal and which has a good link with Sporting is "Record". I think we have an interest in Matheus Nunes but we are far from what sources like "Abola" say (example: this summer we are going to make an offer of 40M for Nunes). But if we really want an 8 for me Nunes in terms of quality / price we can not do betterExactly, what I said before: a CM, not a DM. And using Gundogan as a 6 reserve would be a stupid idea imo. Best to get a real DM. Nunes could come if we’re also looking for an 8, but I am not sure these links are reliable at all. (A note for certain posters: Nunes was born in Brazil…)
Record was also pushing a story about Nuno Mendes prior to last summer. Usually, it’s more reliable to believe the English sources than the sources from the other clubs’ countries. I agree that 40M doesn’t sound correctThe only source you have to believe coming from Portugal and which has a good link with Sporting is "Record". I think he’s not been that great at PSG yet, but still very youngnuno mendes is a baller though, would've been a great buy
Pep praises many, many playersi disagree, hes been extremely good, specially when you take his age into account.
Related to nunes, id say that guardiola going out of his way to talk about the dude says all it needs to be said about city being interested. Even more so that hes not even close to being an household name

I come back to Nuno Mendes stories last year from the same papers. Such a deja vu. I think Pep wants FDJ, but maybe if we sign two like @tolmie's hairdoo thinks we could…Any credibility here @BrazilianBlue (Gus)?
Thanks mate. Personally Tchouaméni is my first choice but I would 100% take De Jong.I come back to Nuno Mendes stories last year from the same papers. Such a deja vu. I think Pep wants FDJ, but maybe if we sign two like @tolmie's hairdoo thinks we could…
I’d like Tchouameni too but haven’t been hearing much noise thereThanks mate. Personally Tchouaméni is my first choice but I would 100% take De Jong.
Yeah, there have been some reports but the concrete links are to Liverpool unfortunately.I’d like Tchouameni too but haven’t been hearing much noise there
Gundogs replacement i reckon.
I think the club are looking for a box to box player, which he definitely is.maybe, hes definitely not a dm though, which is the position we should actually bring someone for
Just have a feeling it’s yet another player the Portuguese media is fed links from an agent to hype him up. Pep giving them a quote on him only makes it more likely typical paper fantasy, like with Nuno Mendes, Darwin Nunez and others. There’s also a bit of me having watched him a lot and not seeing “City” there. But please make up your own mind, I don’t want some of the posters here to do what they’re already doing in another thread by creating an image of me as an “influencer” to fit their negative narratives.
