Can we afford to go into a season with just 3 CB's though - especially with VK's injury record. And I'm not including dozy dedryck.

Kompany, DM, Mangala, Boyata ... Sagna has played at CB at Arsenal so can cover CB and watching Fernando today I'd guess he could cover at CB in an emergency ...

Yaya can do a turn at CB too. He was good enough for that role in the Champions League final, 2009. Mind you, he did have an easy time of it in that game as his opponents only touched the ball 19 times.

I actually think Jason Denayer has a long term future at City and could end up being better than Nastasic and Boyata.....really excited to see what he can do in a city shirt in a season or two.....

I agree.....As Nastasic is only 21 he could easily stay in the squad this year without causing any issues...I think this comes down to Nastasic no longer being a fit and I agree......I know I might be the only one but think selling him is the right move for him and the team....
