Matija Nastasic or Joleon Lescott?

I think he's the main reason why we are weaker from set pieces at the moment. I'd have played him yesterday. Norwich were the second-best crossers in the league last season and are used to nodding the ball in and around the box. Lescott is an absolute beast in the air and therefore should be played against aerial threat teams.

Lescott was a key figure in our defence which was a major part of why we are now champions...goals against 29 in 38 games

So far this season we have conceeded 19 in 20 games

yeh the odd mistake but hes is human. being treated poorly

It's a choice I would hope I wouldn't have to make. We need them both in my opinion. Nastasic is still learning his trade and hs been excellent but has made positional errors which he will correct over time. Joleon is a far better header of the ball in defence bd is stronger but some of his errors have been higher profile.
In a nutshell I really would hate to see Joleon leave, we really need them both and both deserve to be there.

Like both and hope we keep both. Would like to see both involved, but Mancini seems to have taken against Lescott this season. There is a big age gap but Lescotts hardly over the hill & is one of the fastest players at the club

Nearly had me.

IMO we continue with Nastasic, we can't not play him against the likes of Stoke forever so why not play him now. Besides play Lescott and so on and we play their game.

Same team that started v Norwich IMO.

I think we're missing Lescott's presence at set pieces. I think Joleon is still a better defender than Nastasic but Nasty will become a better player.
For now, I'd prefer Joleon.

There's little doubt nasty is the better ball player. As far as defending I'd sooner lescott in there. (I 'd love to know who Vinny would prefer to play alongside) Nasty has been elevated a bit too soon to cult status for me. A bit like Bojinov.
