Matija Nastasic or Joleon Lescott?

Like both and hope we keep both. Would like to see both involved, but Mancini seems to have taken against Lescott this season. There is a big age gap but Lescotts hardly over the hill & is one of the fastest players at the club

Nearly had me.

IMO we continue with Nastasic, we can't not play him against the likes of Stoke forever so why not play him now. Besides play Lescott and so on and we play their game.

Same team that started v Norwich IMO.

Apologies, thought I'd read he was second fastest behind Clichy, then realised I was thinking of the body fat thread from a bit ago!
Mind you, I don't see our side blessed with huge pace, so maybe he is;)

Ever since he made his debut Nastasic has looked solid and performs at a good enough level t be playing first team football. However, with how solid our back two last year was (Kompany & Lescott) who would you play to partner Kompany?

It's a tough one, but I'd go for Matija Nastasic.

Assuming we're not in the market for another left sided defender, I would keep Joleon for the rest of this season and then let him weigh up his options - He would do a good job at any premiership club and will be in demand.

In my view, he'll always be behind Matija in the pecking order.

Nastasic is on the way to being world class - something Joleon never was and will never be.

Too close to call,but I think Lescott should play against Stoke,not necessarily because they are a long ball bunch of thugs but the kid deserves a breather.
