I actually feel bad for lescott on how good nasty is. What happens if Kompany gets hurt? will Lescott be able to step in for Komp??

He is an example of what good scouting gets for you, while Savic is the opposite. If your scouting system functions well you can find plenty of players like Nastasic instead of paying £25million for today's big thing.

His old manager is a very good friend of Mancini, it may have something to do with it.

I don't think I've ever seen a 19 year old defender with such good composure and positional sense. Those are two qualities you can't really teach defenders, they are almost innate abilities.

Sinisa Mihalovic was it? He was the hot-headed defender with a short temper. Mancini & him worked together at Lazio. Mihalovic is now coach at Fiorentina. Not beyond the realms of possibility that he tipped Mancini that Nastasic had serious potential

I've not been convinced TBH, I think he has the potential to be much better, nothing seems to faze the lad, he's so composed, I'd be interested to know what position he started out at as a kid? If all things go to plan Nasty and Vinny could be together for the next 10 years, theyv'e only played together for a handfull of games and quickly stopped conceding the goals, and with Joe Hart in net the future looks very promising!!

Mihalovic was the manager..it's possible that he informed mancini about nastasic.
i don't know which team he coached now..
right now,it's montella that manage fiorentina.

They're was one moment in the game where the ball was in the air and on its way too Kone. Instead of going to challenge him for it, Nastasic read the pass Kone was going to make before he even received the ball, and moved into the position he thought the ball would be passed to. Sure enough that's exactly what Kone did and Nasty picked up the ball with ease.

Mihajlovic was sacked a few months into last season... it was dellio rossi who was fiorentina manager... atleast do some research before u summarize something... fiorentina last season had 2 good youngsters in defence... camporese n nastasic... camporese got injured and it paved the way for nastasic... and i cant beleive people havent heard about nastasic before... nastasic was the best young defender in italy last season behind ogbonna... sad that united are scouting on ogbonna and might sign him in january because ogbonna is the best upcoming defender in the world along with hummels...
