Loved the way we defended today was brilliant to watch.Vinny was superb,Zaba and Barry were brilliant.And Nasty just keeps on improving.I said before that this guy would replace lescott by january how wrong was I.

Needs a song that doesn't involve the Mancini/Vidic/Milijas ("came from Serbia, he'll f*cking murder ya.") tune.
He may already be better than Lescott, just have to see how he could cope with an aerial bombardment, something Lescott is really good at. Nastasic is definitely a better footballing defender.

If the rags had a 19 year old defender as composed as Nasty, we'd never hear the fucking last of it. The odd error from lack of experience aside, this boy is class. The anti-Lescott in terms of comfort on the ball

Agree. Nasty is going to become a world class defender at this rate. The odd mistake here and there, but even Kompany does that. Looks very composed in defense, and very comfortable on the ball, always looking for a positive pass, as opposed to the typical Lescott 3-footer to Clichy.
Don't get me wrong, I think Lescott has grown immensely since he joined us, but unfortunately not on the ball. He looks terrified everytime he has the ball.
