I thought he looked great attacking down the left.

Could you imagine vinny down the right wing or any other centre half for that matter.
He really impressed me again. I like the fact he always try's to play forward.

this is the deference between lescott and nastastic,
it puts him in a different bracket altogether.
add that the fact he is comfortable in possesion and plays with his head up .
he is just a little bit too ambitious with his passing at times,,, he will be punished for it and learn his lesson

Exactly! I think we've conceded one goal in 5 games with Nasti playing! Far from not being a good player, I'd say he's the best teenage defender I've seen since Maldini.
 
Just like to come on this thread again and express my delight of seeing Nastasic in a sky blue shirt. Such confidence for a 19 year old settling into new surroundings. Has more heart than the United defence put together!
 
Usually I'd be against using someone so young in a derby game but I hope Nasty starts on sunday.

I listened to him yesterday, he was talking riddles from start to finish, didn't have a clue what he was on about, in the end I was just laughing at him. Sky employ some right muppets
 
The bit where he went to right back and stopped Evra from dribbling into the box was worthy of a GIF.

Thought he should have done better on the second goal, but having watched it a few times Rooney's run isn't tracked by any of the midfield - Though I still think he could have prevented the goal.

Other then that, not a lot was done wrong. Didn't really falter much without Kompany there, and aerially seemed to not be affected by RVP.

Probably why we cant keep a clean sheet! Lescott has 'lost his legs' and, frankly, its getting embarrassing. He was only ever of an average ability anyway and 23m was ludicrous. Shame, seems a nice bloke and tries hard - but he isnt good enough.
