Sometimes they make a lot of money at it (Ike has) but most of the time they are just ignored, it does seem a desperate attempt to stay relevant and try and earn some money, case in point "Right said Fred" during COVID they would have only been remembered for a couple of hits and faded into obscurityHe has gone down the £2m a year, David Ike type road. I've just checked. JFK's age when he didn't have his brains splattered over the back of the presidential limo in Dallas 60 years ago was 46. So; when he comes back, he'll be 106 years old (actually, he'll be 107 at the end of May).

They make money by creating fear around a boogey man or group, then they offer to expose "the unfiltered truth" that "THEY" (whoever they may be) don't want you to know...on patreon...for a little fee of course. Works every time. Rush Limbaugh made a living from it, left a fortune for his family. Tucker Carlson picked up the baton and kept it going.
