Every player who's gone to United recently has damaged his career, including his teammate Dailey Blind.
I'd hope he's not that stupid.
He gave a big speech about how proud he is of the kind of attacking football Ajax stand for, referencing Cruyff and all.
Unless he's a hypocrite it would mean Barca, Pep or nothing.

The potential problem is that he’s very young and has got himself tied to an arse of an agent who will try to hawk him to whomever will pay him the biggest agents fee - in all probability that could be United with the clown Woodward pulling the strings. Moreover Raiola may prefer a transfer to United now because it raises the prospect of another pay day later - he can move De Ligt again in another 3 or 4 years time - if he goes to Barca now that could be that for his entire career. Raiola liked the prospect of Pogba going to United because he knew he could move him on again to Real or PSG - as he will. I Just hope De Ligt ?and his family) is strong enough to assert himself and go where he wants to go.
 
If Van Dijk is worth 75m being 26-27 years old, De Ligt should be worth atleast 80.
I wonder what Pep and Txiki’s plans are. They might have counted on Kompany being around for one more year and didn’t really work on De Ligt, and now they might be too late.

Whatever works for me, just not Maguire.
