Matthijs de Ligt

Disagree if he signs for rags he would get decent pay and would probably leave inside 2-3 seasons and raola then gets another pay day.

Objection! ;)
He would get decent pay at either of the other clubs and, until proof to the conyrary, de Ligt isn't under Raiola's psychic control. I really don't see him going from playing in the CL to playing in the EL.

You hang out with them enough or have you completely jumped ship now they are shite?

I Have only seen this player four times and ,well, he didnt blow my mind infact i dont get the supposed queue knocking down the Ajax door care to tell me where i am going wrong

Sound like a jealous ex, cheer up - United have been shite for 6 years running. Irregardless, some remarkably convoluted logic to go from the arrogance/ignorance of United fans believing they had a shot at De Ligt to me hanging out with United fans

The move makes a lot of sense for everyone involved actually.

Raiola is great at what he does. I like how he is insisting on a release clause lol

De Ligt will go to Juve win about 4 league titles and some cups. Then he’ll move to another club and everyone will get paid.

Not classy, gotta love it from the Qataris who love their indentured servants to not insist on a get out of gulag option

That agent is a twat

I have to agree with the Barça fan here, the "not classy" statement sounds like a poor excuse. They're free to say that of course.
Some fans are worried about this release clause but I heard that its value could grow each year, and in any case it's applicable only if he does want to leave. No sense in keeping a player that wants to leave. If we get around 200m after 2-3 years with him I'll be fine. We've learned not to get attached to Raiola's clients.

Thats almost as ironic as a bloke from Switzerland who decides to support Barca trying to constantly take the moral high ground and smack talk a Parisian who supports his home team. Given that you're in a slightly precarious moral position yourself - open to accusations of glory hunting, for instance - I'd probably be slightly less inclined to dish out the shaming to others.

Come on man, where's your loyalty? I realise that Swiss football is utter shite but shouldnt you at least be trying to stick up for FC Grasshopper or something??

Or getting behind Young Boys...

The assumption is that the poster is from Paris but you have no idea where he's from. Great city but shite club that has been in existence for only a few decades and now with morally bankrupt Qatari owners. The story of players trying to exit that club are well documented and either ends with them being relegated to bench fodder or rewarded with bumper contracts. The irony is that even though my club has a shite board & aimless sporting direction atm, the moral highground is that we can always censure them or vote in a new one. Alternatively, PSG fans have to spin for their Qatari benefactors. It's genius from Raiola & De Ligt since the gulag could've only ever been a layover to a bigger club, hence the insistence on a tenable exit plan - even if it still was likely to be too steep for most to consider at 150M. Moreover, I am happy that this shite board won't entertain matching those sort of terms for the player.

As it happens, I like Basel, since they are a sister club to Barca. We are a small country but produce & export great football & footballers, maybe you're familiar with Shaqiri, Salah, Rakitic, Embolo, Lichtsteiner, Behrami, Degen, Djourou, Xhaka, Senderos & Fernandes among others

Still struggling to follow the convoluted logic of how that could conceivably be linked to what I said about United fans being delusional about De Ligt but by all means enLigten me

Comparing the situation of football players earning a fortune week in week out
to millions of victims
by using the term 'gulag' is simply unbearable.

You seem to be driven by hatred or completely unaware of one of the darkest historical lessons of the last century.

It's not funny and there is no need for such a disrespectful comparison.
I would ask you to edit your post and just name the club you mean to talk about. FFS.
Thanks.
