This has actually just come from nowhere. Why all these defensive mids though, add Vieira to the reckoning then we have 4. Not counting Kompany if he continues to be played in defence.

I really hope that Mancini has a 4-3-3 in mind with Ireland playing in the hole, so it looks like he wants to give Ireland some protection with 2 defensive mids that will boss the game allowing Ireland to concentrate on making those key runs from last season and looking for the killer pass

Bit of background info on him from kenyan news channel, wow this lad is built like a tank. Definately gives a much needed presence to our midfield if true.

Think Barry will be the one getting overlooked in the really physical games because although he is a big lad himself he can't really get stuck in all the time, not sure if he just a bit jaded or what but he's just not being doing it consistently so far this season.

If this lad does come in I would love to see him and De Jong partnered in midfield with Ireland playing in front.

If its another loan, im getting the feeling the sheik is only letting Cini only have loan's (or not sign on a perm deal). Meaning, the boss has plans for a new manager in the near future.
