Not really a surprise, considering the recent run of results.

I don't agree with those who say that McClaren has done nothing in his managerial career. He won the League Cup with 'Boro and the Dutch title with FC Twente.

I thought he would have done much better at Newcastle than he has done.

It will be interesting to see how Benitez gets on at the Toon. He has a hell of a job on his hands to keep them up, IMHO.
