and how many have won more when they were dispatched there?

Ronaldo left ONE YEAR AGO so a little premature with that one. United hardly set the World alight on the trophy front last season did they, I doubt he's cursing missing out on the Carling Cup.

Pique, as an example YOU threw in, has won many trophies since leaving United.

Pique, as an example YOU threw in, has won many trophies since leaving United.

They've got tens of millions to spend, they've still got most of the Ronaldo money, it's sat there in a nice fat wallet waiting for Fergie to use it, there just isn't any "value" in the market at the moment, that's why they haven't spent anything really, it's not that they've no money, that they're mired in debt, that the profits from the Ronaldo sale have been pocketed by the Glazers/used to pay off astronomical interest payments, on no, it's a lack of market "value".

And I'll repeat, ONE SEASON. United have won a Carling Cup, a secondary Cup competition that Spain don't actually HAVE as an option. Ronaldo didn't win the league, or the Champion's League, or the Spanish FA Cup. Neither did United.

I don't know if this has been posted on the thread, but an agent was on Talksport yesterday, the H & J show when he was asked what he thought of Toures 200k a week deal. The agent replied this was utter bollocks, in as many words, he knew it was half of that and also, his words, City were now cute in the transfer dealings and won't be taken for a ride.

H & J were taken aback and moved swiftly on!!

19.5m and 100k per week for a great player, not bad i say

This makes some sense because let's be honest if City had bid £25 mill for Milner - do any of us really think Villa would have turned that down. That is the kind of stories going around, we need to ignore them.
