Just been told that 189 tickets have been sold. Capacity is about 200, so thanks to all those who have booked. Hope you enjoy it. If you want to get one of the last few tickets order here http://www.cornerhouse.org/film/film-ev ... -on-film-3

The following day I'm doing a free talk on the birth of football in Manchester at the Football Museum at 1pm. The story covers Manc football before City & Utd came to prominence, but should still interest anyone who is interested in Manchester's or football's history. It's free but tickets must be hooked here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/manchest ... 0560549889

Just like to say Gary, nearly finished the Manchester the city years for the 2nd time. Really brilliant book a must for every city fan.

I went to both screenings last time and can highly recommend it.

Gary is the talk at the NFM the same as the one at the University? If so, I can recommend that too. It was excellent.

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Talk has more detail & facts and will last about 50 mins. It's based on a paper I've had published - http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10. ... 013.873075

I'll post more in a few days about it. Thanks again.

"The Boys in Blue" film show will have one final showing this year (2016). This time it will be shown at the Dancehouse. Details here: http://www.ticketline.co.uk/the-boys-in-blue-manchester-city-fc-on-film#bio The comments throughout this thread should give a feel for whether it's worth it or not. Obviously, if you attended a previous showing then please spread the word as it's difficult to get across exactly what this rare footage is and what it means. I think people may assume it's stuff that's readily available elsewhere and it's not. If anyone needs more info about what's included then please let me know. Happy to explain. Cheers
