MCFC Kit Survey

Must admit i'd like a shirt, possibly away or Champs league with the Manchester coat of arms on. If not for anything else but to further humiliate our across town neighbours

I couldn't care less about who makes the kit or what tedious variation they think up every year to get impressionable people to shell out £50 for a shirt that costs next to nothing to make.

Shirtwise the only thing that has bothered me in the last few years was the regrettable 'lazer blue' period.

Done .
possibly the worst kits ( material wise ) we've ever had :(<br /><br />-- Sun Jul 28, 2013 8:03 pm --<br /><br />

Only question I can't answer is the quality of the Nike kit because I don't have one nor well I buy one can someone tell me the quality of material on there kit?
yeah........ its shit !

Done. The material is bad but LCS was worse I reckon.I'd personally like to see a striped away shirt other than black/red,possibly white/navy or white/maroon.

I wonder how the players feel about the shirt, seeing as how they were made for performance and not fashion.

Milner has said he liked the material of the away kit and that it was a lot lighter than previously used. He said it was designed for the players to perform in as opposed the fans to look fasionable in. The latter I took as a dig at the heavy cotton umbro used on some of the home kits

There's no reason why Nike can't do two shirts. On for the players using the new lighter material, and one for the fans using cotton, both with the same design.

That would stop the fans complaining about the snagging issues.

They do it for Rugby Union teams, my only concern would be that Nike wouldn't want to be seen offering a better product at a cheaper price, thus I think the fan shirt would have to be marketed in such a way so that they can charge more for it.
