Agree with most of it, but I think Corrigan was quite poor. Gave away the ball too often, was easily beaten 1vs1 and his crossing was not very good either

Fair point I just enjoyed his balls for trying to force a splitting pass. On another day 2/3 come off and causes havoc. Plus he always wants to pass forward, think he might be a player in another 2 seasons.
 
Was quite fascinating to see how similar the teams were to the first teams. City with their playing out from the back and Liverpools high press, and not to mention the luck and all the ref decisions on their side

If Corrigan makes it at City level or even prem level at all I would be staggered. Efforts there but as you say he isn't a great defender and does give the ball away too often. Plus he moans at the officials waaay too much. That sarcastic walk forward to measure the wall properly ( even tho he was right) could easily get a booking from some refs and he had already been booked.

Love watching Hodge play and there is no doubt he has impressed me more than Gomez. But I think there is a lot more to come from Gomez. I also like the look of Harwood -Bellis. Really good to have a big lad at center back who really knows what he is doing.

Agree about Bellis, even though his passing today was not quite up to his standard. Only 16 but has been very impressive for the U19s and U23s when I've seen him. Already rate him higher than Humphreys, Latibeaudiere and Tosin. Feel pretty confident that at least one of Bellis and Garcia will make the first team in a couple years
 
Is there a way to stream any of the u18 and EDS games? I live in the USA so it's hard to keep up with youth performances. City should really have something for the academy games.
 
Drew with Blackburn 1-1 today. Cole Palmer scored the goal. Lots of players were absent due to national duty

I'm in the same situation as you. Sometimes I can find a stream, but it really annoys me that the club doesn't broadcast anything. Last season they had it live on their Facebook a couple times, but not this season. I can usually find streams for Uefa Youth League and games against the dippers and the rags (since they have their own tv-channel where they broadcast EDS and academy games), but anything else is just a bonus. If I find a stream some time, I'll try to remember and PM you, since links are not allowed on the forums

Lots of postive comments here about Joe Hodge, he's in his last year at school so obviously playing up a year or two, I've followed his 'career' since he was very young so pleasing to hear that he's doing well.
He's played for Ireland & England so no doubt if he progresses they'll be a time he'll need to make that decision, at a recent England jnr tournament he was voted player of the tournanment, we all want to see local lads make the first team & he's got as good a chance as any.

I only know him by reputation and the fact we took him off the Rags a few years back.I don't know how much playing time he is getting but he's an attacking midfielder with fantastic ability apparently,and not 17 till January.

Only seen a few minutes of him so far so no comment, except that whoever has called him the new Messi probably wants his head looking at!

Good from the lads today to demolish Middlesbro. How it was only 1 at half time is beyond me but 6 nil is probably about right. After 2 draws in the last 2 games , both 3.3, it was good to have another 6 all at the right end.

Braaf did play well and can be quite devastating running with the ball. It's when he shoots or passes that he just doesnt get it right most of the time. He got into about 6 excellent shooting positions and scored 1 with the others being pretty tame. He does overdo it at times when a simple early ball would be best but he's just a kid and learning. Could be quite special if he learns quickly and well. Plays from the left wing but is right footed.
