Would it hurt to be in both here and main forum.

I visit daily and only found out about this on the City vs Hull thread on there.

Surely it can't hurt to promote this and every other EDS game?
It would get lost in the main forum, if you visit daily how is it any more difficult to visit this forum then the main one?
Would you like all of the cellar duplicated in the main thread just so you don't miss anything?

Seriously, all you had to do is think about your question first and then you wouldn't have had to ask it on here.

Sorry, I normally just visit the main Bluemoon & General forum. I have things to do sometimes.

I guess there's very little arguement to be had. I think attendance and awareness of this game would be raised if it were on the more popular area.

It's not 'anymore difficult' it's just not my priority I guess this isn't an issue. I just think a topic based around a game, a game that some of us with a job hadn't known about till reading on another thread would benefit from more exposure. I'm sure such topics as City's tallest vs City's shortest and other such brilliance are far more important.

Put it this way, I'll be going Saturday, thanks to reading about it on the Bluemoon section. You know the one at the top of selection options on my iPad.

You need to remember that everyone doesn't visit every avenue of this site.

I'd be interested City eds vs Shalke was on the Bluemoon forum, this wasn't, which will have a higher attendance, which topic had more views, replies?
You're just not getting it are you? That's the point of the EDS forum, if you are interested in the youth teams it makes much easier to find out what's happening by coming here rather than it getting lost in amongst the "City's tallest vs City's shortest" crap that clogs up the main forum.

" the one at the top of selection options on my iPad", does owning an iPad make you too lazy or too stupid to look further down? Actually don't answer that one, I work tech support so I already know.

And what the fuck does "that some of us with a job" mean? Do you think you know me bud? Or are you just chatting shit?

No, I was just responding to your unwarranted pomposity.

I'm lazy for sure, but I just like to keep tabs on all things City. Ok you're right, no point having the details of the EDS game in as many areas as possible. I guess you'll be proved right when more turn up Saturday than the Schalke game.
The Schalke that was coincidently present on the 'Bluemoon' section of the forum.

You seem to be an utter pleb, good for you. My arguement, and utterly and unequivocally correct is, I'm now attending this game as it's been brought to my attention on the Bluemmon forum. In the City Hull topic. Not here.

This may have been the case for many more, who knows.

I've been a season ticket holder since 1987, I'm now 35. If trying to belittle me, if giving shit on an Internet fans forum makes you feel better then good for you. This subject needed more attention, a place on the primary forums would have seen to this,

The fact that others have said so make the 'put it on more forums' argument 100% correct.

I always try to remain balanced on this formum, on occasion you come across a pompous arese wipe, then I fire back.

A lot of fans, (maybe not as die hard as yourself) just visit the primary topics, the main 'Bluemoon' and 'General' forums. That's is a fact, perhaps this topic would be best served there.

27 pages on the 'Bluemoon forum' EDS vs Schalke, this kind of highlights what a clown you are, oh and proves my point. 5 pages on the EDS forum and 27 on the Bluemoon, you can argue all you want, but you'd be wrong.

Yes, broadcasting the EDS on the main ares of this site may keep the 'die hard' EDS fans away, is that what you are looking for?

To me, and most in all fairness, to gain a greater audience you need to make as many as possible aware of the event. You think differently, perhaps when you sell your house you pop a sign in the window, I'm sure that will be more effective than right move.

It's funny, you seem to be a real jumped up know it all, but ignor the basic principles of marketing, the more that know the more will come.

Simple really, if you know you may go, if you don't you won't.

Don't tar me with the 'you're not getting it' I am fully getting it, if you are an EDS fan you will check the EDS forum, are you getting that some City fans are lazy?

As I say 27 pages for the EDS Schalke, 5 for this. I guess you have a point...

What he said ^ times ten million.

It's just sheer arrogance to see it any other way.

"unwarranted pomposity", you may want to look up the meaning of big words before using them because I'm pretty sure that one doesn't apply.
"You seem to be an utter pleb, good for you", pleb="an ordinary person, especially one from the lower social classes". Don't see where that comes from or why you consider it an insult. You're probably talking about the majority of the City support (except for GDM of course).
"I've been a season ticket holder since 1987, I'm now 35.", and the relevance of that is?
"The fact that others have said so make the 'put it on more forums' argument 100% correct.", according to boring Nev there's 4 of you, so yeah, you're 100% correct, lol.
"on occasion you come across a pompous arese wipe", by that you mean someone who actually disagrees with you? Have you just got up to the word "pompous" in your "learn a new word" book? And you spelt arse wrong.
"A lot of fans, (maybe not as die hard as yourself) just visit the primary topics, the main 'Bluemoon' and 'General' forums. That's is a fact", apparently the mods who have access to the web traffic disagree or perhaps your "facts" are more accurate then theirs? Once again no idea what the "die hard" bit means or it's relevance."
Yes, broadcasting the EDS on the main ares of this site may keep the 'die hard' EDS fans away, is that what you are looking for?", another WTF are you talking about moment.

I think you're being very pig-headed about this whole thing. You're acting exactly how i'd expect a moderator to act, and moderators are usually unnecessarily fussy people who only see things in black and white.

I dunno if you're like that as a person but that's just how its coming across at the moment. As the bumped Schalke thread in the main forum indicates, he is entirely right regarding all his points and i can't see how any logical person would see any other way of looking at it. He's coming across as City fan who wants to maximise the possible chances of the academy lads having a big crowd on Saturday (using the same perfectly fine methods we all did with Schalke post in the main thread - all 27 pages of it) and you're coming across as someone who will not make any exceptions and wants to make sure that everything is in the right correctly labelled place with absolutely no exceptions and not even considering previous precedents. None of the arguments against moving the thread hold up at all.

As i said, that's just how it comes across and it's just my opinion.

Seems like a pointless discussion now as nowt's gonna change anyway as you'd have to admit to changing your opinion which i don't suspect is gonna happen.

Now children come on. You'll be getting no pudding if you don't all behave.
Why don't you just press the new comments tab then you get the most recent topics posted on and has all the thread headings on it. Simples!!!!!

The funny thing is, you're disagreeing with logic. Are you honestly telling me the attendance on Saturday wouldn't benefit from as much exposure on Bluemoon as possible?

If you are, then we"ll have to agree to disagree.

Just for laughs the 'U21s at Mini Stadum 12noon Before Arsenal Game' has 271 posts/replies. How many does this have?

I highlighted my time as a City fan for a simple reason really, can you not guess why? Do you not understand why this is relevant? I'll tell you, I'm a long serving game going fan and I had no idea about the EDS till reading on the main forum.

If you believe the EDS forum gets more traffic than the 'Bluemoon' forum, then good for you.

You can call me all the names you want, it's you looking a complete fool, you are disagreeing with basic marketing principles, as you seem to have so much time, I'd look that up.

My argument, is and will remain, more exposure the better.

You're missing the point if that's what you think this is about. It's got nothing to do with that.

It's about the simple fact that if a thread is in the main forum it will get seen hugely more (and thus interacted with more keeping it to the top of the active topics list) than it will if its in the EDS forum. Indisputable fact.

Someone tried to put a reminder on the main page to encourage people to go along and it got moved into here which is a shame, and a huge part of the reason it's a lot quieter than the Schalke thread and why there isn't more of an obvious buzz about that game. Even more frustrating when the reason given was basically 'its an EDS thread so it should go in the EDS forum' cos its just narrow-minded, especially when the purpose of the thread was to draw attention to the game for those who don't usually read the EDS forum which is clearly a lot.

If you put any thread about any academy player in the main forum i'm 100% positive it'd be read and posted in more than if it was just in EDS forum for example.

Oh and i am playing nicely - just stating exactly how it all comes across to me.
