See thats my problem with women's football your comment is the first thing that comes into my mind, the rest is not important.......sorry ladies just being honest
Can we have a subforum for MCFC ladies and womens football generally? Then we don't have to bother anyone that isn't interested. Seriously. I shudder at the responses if I started posting about linking-up with UNC or Stamford and posting videos of promising juniors and seniors, or women from the US that might be worth enquiring about. Oh, hang on...
Come on City...get in.

City need to speak to UNC and see about offering junior year abroad options for any girls at university in the UK that are on City's books. In our case, assuming a 3 year degree, an English girl on City's books at university in England would spend her 2nd year at UNC at least on the Tar Heels squad, and continuing to work toward her degree. Of course the UK university would have to be on-board. Getting in with UNC would be a great way to recruit talent from the US and engage in training exchanges.
I know someone on here is going to be interested in this, the roster:

If you look down the right, you'll see where the girls are from. You'll notice a number that read "CASL 94 Chelsea ladies". That's a problem. CASL is the Capital Area Soccer League and Chelsea got involved a few years ago. CASL is basically the area around the capital, Raleigh. Chapel Hill is just west of Raleigh. If City are serious, they need to catch up. You cannot be taken seriously if you look at the US and do nothing in (central) North Carolina. As far as the men's game, it'd be like saying you're not interested in setting-up a scouting network in South America.
