As a Chelsea season ticket holder I will of course be there on Sunday applauding every award be it from UEFA under 19 to the PL trophy and and of course jMs award from anger (edit :now thats a Freudian slip) manager of the season but I agree100% with the shameful comment with regard to last seasons award.

It's clear that the press have huge agendas regarding certain clubs, some deserved an awful lot isn't but it seems to me that the fact that there are only three senior domestic trophies that any team in their respective leagues can win should at any time a manager deliver two of them them personalities shouldn't come into it and the award granted by default.

There are plenty of occasions when threes separate clubs win the trophies so that's the time when a wider view could and probably should be taken but as I say not when a club, whoever they are delivers two of the three.

Agree completely and congratulations to Chelsea on a deserved league title and to Mourinho on his deserved award.
Well said mate. Both fully deserved.

Yes, they were depressingly consistent.

let me know if I'm wrong

last season PL top GS Suarez wins player of the year
year before PL top GS Van Persie wins player of the year
year before PL top GS Van Persie wins player of the year
year before PL top GS Tevez also captains side to first trophy in 34 years, Scott Parker wins player of the year (west ham got relegated)

this year PL top GS Aquero…..not even on the shortlist

Bale won it that year, but that doesn't take away from your point as the rapist came second.

Don't worry I'm sure there's a perfectly rational explanation.

Nigel Pearson should have won the award, the Agenda against us goes on. Looking forward to watching Sergio receive the golden boot after the match on Sunday, one award they cant deny City or its player..!

he can't grumble, he always gets the credit he deserves does serg, his first season in English football the year we won the title and he was up for young player of the year he just has to hold his hands up and admit he lost out to the better player that year in Kyle Walker

History has proved that outcome to be the correct one.

Tevez went on his golfing holiday the year after we won the FA cup.
