Media bias against City

Driving home from work tonight, and switch onto Talkshite. Haven't gone a full mile, when Mark Saggers asks Chris Ramsey for his opinion on the way that Sterling left Liverpool.
Even allowing for the QPR angle, is there anybody in football, who hasn't been afforded the opportunity to slag-off City?
To be fair to Ramsey, he muttered something about the way it was handled, and then wished Sterling all the best.

May have been mentioned ,if so ,sorry. Reading which stadiums were closest to capacity last season on sky by Henry Chard.
City came 8th. Due to stadium expansion, City's capacity is estimated to be between 98.27% and 99.27% which gives an average of (scratches my head) 98.23%.....rags came 4th.

He did an online Q & A session last week and the fat cnut had plenty of sly digs.
Also I clearly stated I wouldn't go as far as banning them.but I'd charge him for all the cakes and doughnuts he eats.

Quite right he did. I posted it at the time but it got lost in other posts. Martin Samuel is no friend of City, and if push comes to shove he'd revert to type as quickly as the other cockroaches that share his 'profession'.

What was absolutely blatantly obvious in that Roma game, is that Raheem Sterling is going to stuff every word of shite these fuckers have come out with, right back up their fucking arses, & we are going to love watching it happen.

The kid is going to be absolutely deadly in this City team with people like Silva. Miles moreso than he was with Suarez. These characters are going to be shitting through their noses watching Sterling in this team & it's going to be so much fun watching them squirm.

Was listening to talksport on Tuesday night around 8 o'clock and the presenters (not bothered to learn their names) managed to go from talking about cricket to shagging sterling off and it ruining the game (standard) back to cricket.
It's sad really they have nothing else in their shitty little lives.

He will, but then he'll play for England and when surrounded by dross will not be able to produce the form he does for City and will then be hammered by the media (who conveniently forget that Rooney has been shite for England for years).

The revisionist cunts conveniently compared City's attendances last season with the pre-extension work capacity. Otherwise City would have been at or near the top. No mention of the rags having thousands of empty seats every game either. (As exposed by the online GMP report).

"I have asked this question before - but nobody can answer it.

Why does the City Muen page always include at least 10 "banner" headlines on the right hand side - about the Rags.?

I think the MEN were asked about this before, and the answer was that their site automatically offers links in that panel to the stories in their sports section that have had the greatest number of clicks.

@markbooth_mcfc: "City prepare for Real flop" is an actual headline in an actual UK newspaper this morning.

Just for the avoidance of doubt we're not talking about the Usk Observer or the Sidmouth Herald or something equally inconsequential are we, cos I can see bugger all of that nature in any of the Nationals........excluding the Sun and the Times, which I ain't paying for to check

Thanks for that Petrusha - I even clicked on the Muen Rag site last week - much against the grain - and they did not have City "banners" down the right hand side.

Your answer puts it all in perspective.

No problem, mate. Think it's a flawed method, personally, precisely because it annoys a lot of readers like you and me.

Anyway, on another note, we can have a little laugh here at one of our detractors - Paul Smith, the greasy-haired guy who looks like Dracula who used to slate us on Sunday Supplement. He's just tweeted:

Aston Villa have a £12m bid accepted by Leyton Orient for striker Jordan Ayew. #avfc #lofc pic.twitter.com/TeeqO3YU0z

The club accepting the bid, however, is actually Lorient of Ligue 1 in La Belle France.
