Media bias against City

Interesting that Sky's viewing figures for the CL were apparently well down (by 38%) over the last five seasons. Last season saw the rags not in the competition and Liverpool not in it the few seasons before last.

That's quite interesting as it strongly suggests viewing figures are heavily linked to the participation & success of English clubs, particularly the rags and Liverpool.

Now normally you'd expect Sky to big up those two and have a huge commercial interest in doing their best to make sure both those clubs got to and did well in the CL.

But with BT taking over the coverage, you'd imagine Sky would be more interested in screwing BT over and ensuring (as far as it could) that neither got to the group stages if possible.

Be interesting to see just how many dodgy decisions go against those two clubs this season.

That's a very good point, will be interesting to see how the 'spin' develops

What absolute shit.

I quite like that the media hate us, its more fun because we can keep proving them wrong.

There scared of are plans for world domination. In 20/30 years time when the young lads come through are academy then maybe they will change there turn and Sheik Mansor will be known as the man who saved the English national team with his brilliant facilities.

Perhaps even a Sir Raheem Sterling....... :)

World domination.

You sound like Peter Kenyon in 2004 and when he said Chelsea would be the biggest team in the world, ten years later they are still not even the biggest team in London.
