Media bias against City

Just discovered The Guardian have now followed the Daily Telegraph and will not allow the word the "rags" to be used in their football comments section.
They continually harp on about history but this era of their history has been deleted.

German daytime TV in 1940 was less restrictive than the Guardian's comment section.

I see Sly sports are doing a compo regarding the best final day moment ( prem league)..we all know what was the best ever final day moment..

lets see.

The expectation that certain if not all of the national dailies should not be targeted at their well researched readership is a forlorn hope. I'm afraid this may have a long legacy during the news starved close season but my hope is that our results (particularly in CL) may force a reappraisal by most English fans which would trigger our acceptance by their readers / viewers.

The reality shown in particular by Sky is the odds of our success in their SkyBet section where its viewers are influenced by their own money betting not the dreamworld of biased journo's.
I find it strange that the very people who criticise our professional Adug investment owners for their player investment policy actually condone this in our rivals.

It is no accident that the journos who report for SkyBet and Racing Post are influenced by the impact that money has on future events rather than reflecting a false view of the hopes of their readership. Why is this ?
We all have a few quid on an outsider of course but it seems that even the most ardent MUFC supporter would like to know what the real odds are before he places a bet on his betting choice.
Cannot see Alan Brazil wanting his horse racing views contaminated by skewed opinion so he bets with his head not his heart and reads reality and even TS has specialist informed betting shop trends for football odds which often flies in the face of its skewed punditry.

I thought it was fine last season, but the media has been really anti-City this summer.

The difference in reporting of the Luke Shaw fee and Raheem Sterling fee was extremely noticeable.

The fact that Scott Sinclair gets mentioned every single time we're interested in an English player, yet Wilfried Zaha and Nick
Powell were almost identical situations at Man United and are never mentioned.

The 'City ruin English players' myth in the media is actually quite shocking when you consider how successful Hart, Lescott, Barry, Johnson and Milner were at this club. We took Adam Johnson from the Championship and developed him into an England regular and Premier League winner, yet I've never seen that development acknowledged in the media. Not once. I find that bizarre after we just signed a young English winger from the Championship.
