Media bias against City

Matt Scott just said the only reason City would be looking to fund a move for Pogba would be if we were going to sell Aguero. How many more times does he have to say that he's going nowhere ffs.

The worst of it is that how undervalued Aguero is in all these daft rumours. If a Bale is £80m and the cannibal is similar value, how the heck can someone like Aguero only be worth £50m.

The caption below the pic says it all

Very poor attempt at humour.

According to prominent posters on BM, Goal.com provides good info on City, but it still shows regular bias against us.

Headline from today "Negredo: Man City misery in the past."

Also, for predicting who might win the CL this season nine clubs listed including rags, Arsenal, Athletico Madrid, Juventus etc but no City!

Something on the radio this afternoon.

Went along the lines of "KDB may reconsider his move to MCFC depending on the Champions league draw. If Hamburg (yes Hamburg not Wolfsburg) get a tough group with Real Madrid and Barcelona he might want to stay to prove himself at the top level rather than in a weak group with city."

The bias is not only in the English press.
Het Nieuwsblad (BE) has an article today about how the move would be bad for De Bruyne's development and how he will not get many games.
Also about how the Premier League is much more of a 'mediatised' league while the Bundesliga focuses solely on the football, comparing the pre-season of Wolfsburg (in Austria) and City (Vietnam and Australia).
They also mention how 'last season showed(?)' that Manchester City are not as good as Wolfsburg.
And of course it also raises the question about the FFP regulations.

Here's the article (Dutch)

Yeah, cos that's where all the proof happens isn't it? No point aiming for the knockout rounds, there's no glory there, the group stages are where it's at. No potential for dead rubbers, it's win or you're out....oh, wait a minute.

Don't know if this is media bias or he's just a thick cxxt but Mersons predictions today he's says when you look at City & Chelseas pursuit of De-Bryne & pedro Chelsea have got their man with no fuss and he's probably twice as good
I'm going with he's a thick cxxt

- taken from the Yaya - Overpriced, Overpaid & Overrated thread. Got it completely wrong then!

There's one journalist on goal that without doubt gets good info on City.

That doesn't mean there won't be other hacks there that hate us.
