The Guardian seems to be the worst when it comes to being anti-City. That article today about us potentially missing out on a top 4 spot is dripping with the journo's gloating about the amount of money we've spent. Of course no mention of rags and how much they spent to finish about 8th last year. I hate the way the Guardian constantly portrays things from the view of the underdog (Burnley in this case.) Fuck Burnley. It was a blip, a freak result. Where will Burnley be in 2 seasons? Wouldn't be surprised if it was League 1. These hacks just cannot stomach that we're now a bigger fish than they were used to when they grew up with the scousers or scum winning everything, and it's hurting them.
Also, the Guardian's transfer gossip is always 'so & so star player' linked with rags or Chelsea. Why is it never us? We have more money than those wankers. And we're champions. Yet they peddle their made up rumours only featuring those two odious clubs, trying to lump us down with the likes of Newcastle or Everton battling for average players. It's all fucking biased shit.
Pellers was right, we never get the credit we deserve from the media. English champions, owner with more money than everyone else's owners combined, yet they never say we're going to sign Bale or anyone even if it's made up. They just don't want to acknowledge our status.
