Media bias against City

The Independent match report made me laugh. Apparently, Pellegrini's first trophy was a "fortuitously won league cup..." Yep, that would be the same cup run where we scored 22 goals and conceded just 2. If that's fortuitous then I really hope we "fortuitously" win it again!!

I noticed that too. I hadn't worked out how inaccurate it was.

But later down the page the headline reads "MANCHESTER CITY RUN RIOT... BUT DID SO WITHOUT AN ENGLISH PLAYER IN THEIR STARTING XI"

And they mention Kev's transfer fee literally every time his name gets typed.

You mean like UTD's England players, all fucking useless, missing penalties etc?!!!!!!

I noticed on the BBC website yesterday, on the Capital One Cup page, yesterday's games were listed similar to this: "In action tonight are Manchester United, City and Liverpool." This is a minor gripe, but why in that order? If alphabetical, it would be Liverpool first and United last. If in order of league ranking, City should have been first. If in order of the magnitude of the game, surely the two all Premier League ties should have preceded United v Boro. The only reason the impartial BBC should list United's game first, is because they are not after all, impartial.

Was it that rag cockroach Ian Herbert again?

Hate that ****. Really do.

My earliest memories of him were switching on BBC breakfast in our hotel room the morning after we lost the FA Cup final, and he was a guest as their 'Northern football correspondent". Described Wigan's win as a "victory for football", the implication being we were immoral. Two football clubs, one moral and the other immoral?

Really got under my fucking skin that, felt like a massive kick in the balls from someone who's supposed to be impartial.

Kept a eye out for him after that, found his Twitter feed and noticed he had photos of the Etihad during a game he was reporting on, making comments about empty seats.

Then there have been his inaccurate, wholly biased, piss poor excuse for journalism, articles in the Independent.

Hate the ****.

Hope he gets piles and they turn gangrenous. ****. Would be a victory for journalism.

Beautifully put, but no. It was some parasite called Tim Rich (twitter @timrich001)

Once again the Daily Fail has accessed it's limited photo archive.
