Media bias against City

ooops messed that up...........

Before anyone defends the article saying 'why put Manchester City and then Manchester Un*ted, they just put Manchester once' The article states Uniteds wage bill was higher than ours so why not put them first ?

2nd attempt. ;-)

Perhaps Utd would have sufficed?

F***ing Fail!

MotD running order...

That's not bias. A routine victory for one of the top Premier League sides wasn't particularly noteworthy. Hence why Arsenal's game got a similar amount of coverage. United game was only a bigger story because they struggled so much.

The MOTD coverage of the third round of the FA Cup was always going to focus on lower league teams, as it does every season. I despair if some of our fans genuinely think this is deliberate bias against us.

At least Lawrenson didn't call one of our players a penis, so that puts us above Everton for tonight! ;)

I completely understand the lower league sides going first, I was just referring to how boring the United game was according to absolutely everyone who witnessed it so you would've thought an emphatic away victory with a couple of top quality goals would've gone first

Like I said though, United's abject home form is clearly the bigger story, judging by tomorrow's back pages. Our straightforward victory is of little interest to anyone other than us.

OK, still keeping score of the BBC Gossip Column stories. I've been keeping a note of how many times the following clubs get mentions in that column as it takes stories from all over the media. Our score is more remarkable given the fact that we're possibly getting the most sought after manager in world football - fuck knows what the Rag score would be if they were getting Guardiola. Anyway, since 1 Nov 15:

Rags - 309
Chelsea - 262 (approx 60 were about Mourinho)
Arsenal - 164
Liverpool - 161
City - 127

Careful using empirical evidence, mate. The flat-earthers don't like that.

How do you explain that during the "analysis" of both our game and Arsenal's, they only showed/discussed Aguero's and ignored the goals scored by 'Nacho and De Bruyne but showed all 4 goals in the Arsenal game?
