Media bias against City

No I am not Pige. I am surprised to find such wild, unsubstantiated beliefs, without a shred of evidence, doing the rounds on this thread though :-).

Enjoy the game everyone and lets hope for three points.

Cheers Pige ;-)

Depends on what you believe constitutes evidence perhaps? For some, finding a bloke holding an axe, plastered in blood and standing over a dead body, is generally enough to convict. You don't actually have to have seen him chopping away, to draw a reasonable inference. Others may prefer to believe, that the bloke chanced by, post mortem, and was in the process of moving the axe in order to try and perform a spot of CPR, and the fact that the same thing happened to him on 27 previous occasions is neither here nor there..... ;-)

The fact is the Rags have drawn against a team fighting relegation, who have lost their last three games, and they were 2-0... and that's being reported positively – imagine if that was us, we'd get slaughtered!

Ha ha, thought of Pige/Frank last night when the rags got the handball. He once argued that Lescott getting a penalty against him for handball against Chelsea wasn't a bad refereeing decision as it was stupid to put your hands in the air. Then a few months later he argued that a penalty we got against Chelsea for a near identical handball was a bad decision and proof that refs weren't biased against us.

I watched the game on an American channel, Chris Waddle was co commentator - everything reasonable the Rags did he was moaning and groaning in the background. I know he might support Sunderland which may explain it a bit but come on.

Free metro spin was how the Rags have now lost their boring tag!

Chris Waddle really wouldn't support Sunderland. He is, always has been and always will be, a Newcastle fan.

He was livid when Dean gave the penalty. John Champion had to calm him down and started putting words into his mouth such as "Are you convinced that Dean was wrong? As the official he would be marked down heavily for not giving it" eventually waddle conceded it was a penalty.

Thinking about it now it might of been Champions way of telling him to toe the editorial line.
