I don't think it would though, really. Regardless of who won it, it's just not that big a story.
Any talk of an agenda should be focussed purely on FFP, because that is where the true conspiracy lies. Perceived slights in the press on relatively innocuous matters cheapen the argument. Many of the complaints in this thread smack of paranoia and pettiness. We're in danger, as fans, of losing sight of the real target of our ire - namely FFP.
agree with this.
however. the media only highlight negatives about our club. when there is any form of success it rarely, if at all gets a mention. positivity breeds interest, interest breeds new fan base and the buying of merchandise and attracts ad revenue to our club. which in turn can affect our ability to overcome ffp issues.
