Fucking hell, even by the clowns on Soccer Saturdays standards, this has been impressively shit. Apparently Spurs battered us and David Silva was a violent thug who was lucky to stay on the pitch, showing the fustration of our season and our lack of quality. YCNMIU

Came in to post this. An outright assault on us. Nothing at all about Silva being fouled all day long, just how he has been a thug for a while now.

utterly disgusting attack that we will just lap up as a club. They will sit a panel in our stadium tomorrow spouting a similar negative line. Put them in the basement.

i fully expected todays narritive to be an apology for slating our academy in haste and waxing lyrical about our impressive win last night in the INTERNATIONAL PREMIER CUP. Lol.

Apparently we are a million miles away, Nicholas sat there shaking his head saying City are a million miles away, but before that Ushited are going for the league next season. Negative spin all the time. Fuck me you would think we were fighting relegation listening to this lot. Did I hear the panel say that Aguero and Silva didnt deserve to be in the team of the year or am I imagining that one?

They said that us having no one in the TOTY was proof that we've all been awful, and that Silva and Aguero have been nowhere near their level. They showed every attack Spurs had, every foul given against Silva, yet absolutely nothing else. Not even our goal. 100% hatchet job, as always

don't watch It anymore but I'd like to ask them are City standards higher than the scum? scum top 4 everything is hunky dory in the media perspective city top 3 miles behind and a very poor season even though we have restriction because if FFP scum spent 1/4 billion and in the Media eyes top 4 is a good season..

So Aguero being the top scorer in the league with 22 from 28 counts for nowt. Mind you it doesn't matter that he is by far the best center forward around because he plays for City, if he played for one of the sky four he would have been in the team for the last four years and these bunch of twats would have been waxing lyrical about him.

A bit like last season the supposed agenda has been completely destroyed.

Every week I keep getting told how United are the media darlings, cartel club and yet this season like last their manager has been more heavily criticised than any other. We have had a lack of defensive signings, playing Rooney out of position, long ball football, criticised for slow tempo football.

Similarly in the week Chelsea won the league the papers have been filled with discussions about their style of football.

If anything journalism, based on the daily publication of newspapers, twitters feeds and internet based news, is pretty lazy and responds to the statements of players, managers resonating out of football.

For example when Kompany spoke about FFP and its affect on City this was the focus in the newspapers for the following few days, similarly Wengers "Chelsea won 1-0 again" underpinned the newspaper narrative for the following few days about the style of football.

Sadly quite a few people cannot accept journalists, ex-players, even those generally supportive of City, may not like everything about the club and so when such issues are discussed fans take any perceived slight as evidence that person is against us. Even the likes of Trevor Sinclair, Niall Quinn, ex-blues are criticised along with pretty much every newspaper, television channel, referees, Football association, UEFA the list goes on....

Some City fans seem to revel in their victim status and spend their time looking for articles to reinforce this opinion.

Good spot. So does that mean I have used the wrong word in a sentence or am I closet Red? I wonder on the paranoid world of the agenda thread what the verdict will be :-).
