Media bias against City

Just noticed on BBC matchday feed that they have a pic of some empty seats and a sarcy comment. Wonder if they'll do the same at Stoke or Middlesbrough. Fuckin doubt it. Wankers.

I noticed Sly have been quoting two attendance figures for us for last night's match: the correct one and one a couple of thousand less. Mistake? Ermm

CNN, Al Jazeera,MSNBC, RT International business units have made a the deal one of their main headlines. All eschewing the positives of it. Shows how are media agenda is controlled over here.

Sky last night on there match day app
"Seems like city fans have come dressed as blue seats".
Why are they so obsessed with our attendances

Talksport just now. Hamaan talking about City playing in the doldrums against Burton, Shrewsbury and Accrington Stanley for 30 years.

Then the other bellend talking about us goibg buying fans all over the world.

Their tears taste delicious!

Those loveable scamps at eh BBC have an audio clip from 5 live, apparently 48 seconds of Trevor Sinclair. What's it listed as? "Mangala not good enough to lace Kompany's boots"

Stands to reason that that is the only excerpt that they could find, I bet he never said anything praiseworthy about anyone else.

Really annoyed by this, as they could have easily gone with 5 minutes when he was absolutely Raving about Iheanacho - he couldn't stop praising him.

I think city should demand a full apology from sky, from clearly what is not a impartial organisation. Come the end of the season when we've won four trophies they will be licking our arses, we have given them the best moments in PL history and this is how the treat us.

Slight correction to myself. it's listed as "Mangala can't fill Kompany's boots".

However, yes, I#'m sure he said more stuff.

OK, I know I'm sad......so don't bother with any of that.

I read the BBC Gossip Column every day. All they do is pick the best/most relevant bits from the media, and we all know the BBC have no Rag bias (you never see them using tax payers money on silly documentaries about that shower). So, from 1 November onwards I've been keeping a log on how many stories they report on for Arsenal, Liverpool,Chelsea, Rags and us. Here are the scores as at today:

Rags - 111
Chelsea - 102
Liverpool - 66
Arsenal - 65
City - 42

.....no media bias my fucking arse.
The actual nature of reports are relevant also. I would say 90% of articles where we are mentioned are in a negative light. That is usually the other way round for United articles.

The BBC might say they are just reporting other media sources in the gossip column, such as the Murdoch gutter press. While this is partly true, they also quote player's tweets, and these also are weighted heavily in favour of the rags.

On the main BBC football page, very often over half the stories seem to be connected to the rags, Van Gaal, Ferguson, Ronaldo, Nevilles, Scoles, Beckham etc. all are over reported.

The highest rated BBC comments, frequently recognise the BBC obsession with United. However it is virtually impossible to get them to change and show balanced impartial reporting, despite being funded by taxpayers.

Anyone read the report in 'i' of last night's game?! While an upset might have been slightly more newsworthy, their report could not make it more clear how much the sports editorial policy is anti-City. Almost every paragraph makes some snidey comment about what a shame it was that the underdogs didn't win (or even deserve to win). Strangely enough, the reports for the other Premier-Championship clashes don't even hint at anything similar.

Anybody thinking the drip drip effect of negativity in the press has no effect only had to listen to a load of North Yorkshire bellends call one of our players "one greedy bastard." Like our transfer business has anything to do with those sheep shagging nobs. If any of you dicks are reading this "He's top of the fucking league"

Who cares what a few backwards six fingered folk think in a small county of a very small country on this planet?

Fuck em. I doubt Most people from the UK could point where Hull is on a map, nevermind a fucking Tiger in an Asian Jungle.

Are we sure they were not singing "one greedy bastard" at their own manager?

It's not really Classed as media bias but it is a bias. Football Manager 2015.

Sterling is always asking for more money. Anyone else have this on theres?

To be honest mate, you only have to listen to the reaction of the City fans every time Sterling makes the slightest mistake to know how manipulative the media can be in shaping people's perspection.

I think alot if that is frustration and wanting him to ram the media shit back down their throats.

Nah, it's one hundred percent down to being brainwashed.

If the media ran a campaign for several weeks saying Aguero was past it and couldn't finish, City fans would slowly begin to say the same thing whenever he didn't play well.

Case in point, it makes me laugh whenever Sterling misses a chance City fans say he can't finish (the media favourite line), this is despite him having a decent amount of goals for his position and one of the best shots to goals ratios in the team.
