Just to prove that fans of other clubs really do buy-in to the nonsense...
I was on the beach this weekend up here in the North East, and got talking to a Boro fan, who saw my City t-shirt and asked about my expectations for the season. I told him I was cautiously optimistic, but he then went on to say he wasn't all that impressed with Pep, as he had always inherited a successful team: "Barcelona already were the best team in Europe and he inherited a team of superstars who had already won the Champions League"....

The BBC had a headline something like "Mourinho not worried by defeat to Dortmund", if City had lost 4-1 it would have been" Gaurdiola's City thrashed/humiliated in first game"Also, the scum's 4-1 defeat to Dortmund is neatly tucked away out of sight.

i forgot the reason i hate boro so much..you,ve just reminded me!!
2nd reason(there are a plethora of other reasons) is that ive never ever had a decent drink up there.The town is a shithole,and being on the piss in the centre is as depressing as hell.
the fact that they always seem to beat us,home and away,is of course nothing to do with it whatsoever!
