I think it’s hard to justify last nights attendance, it was quite poor. The fact it’s highlighted a lot more than any where else is the real issue.

I thought before the game that the bottom 2 tiers had sold out but that was not the case. 32k would be disappointing in isolation but given that it was on the back of 2 home games in 7 days one of which was an FA Cup tie where everyone paid again, it's understandable.

There’s a lot of games coming thick and fast just after Xmas, Huddersfield away, Schalke away and Wembley coming up, I’m feeling the pinch and sure others are, I’m a man of means by no mean, king of the road, might have to hitch hike to Schalke :-)

Same happened with the Der Speigel regurgitation by our esteemed press pack and their faux outrage; the usual sneering apologists went missing from this thread.

Yes I have noticed they have gone missing, which they always have done when things are going against them, but fear not they will unfortunately reappear.
From my point of view the the forum seems a happier place without them.

See, that one doesn't bother me at all. Newspapers print what gets eyeballs on an article, same reason you get more about City than West Ham or Wolves. You're absolutely right that certain other teams would get coverage and City don't, but that one is just a commercial decision. Print anything about United and it'll get views.
