I think the braodcast media and the tabloids are well out of touch with most fans and that's why their audience and reader figures are all plunging. A lot of them have failed to realise that Liverpool and the Rags may well have the biggest fanbases but when you combine the figures for those fans who don't support these two it will be much larger.
I think a lot of football fans, not just us, are totally pissed off with negative coverage about their own clubs. In fact coverage of football in general is very negative and appears to be overly influenced by social media trolls who never attend games. Where is the celebration of the world's greatest sport?
Yes and the media virtually ignored Leicester in 2016 until the last few weeks when they finally realised it was a sensational story in the making. I thought they would win it after they demolished us at home in early February. I met some Leicester fans as I left the ground and at that time they were still being treated as a joke by the media. Sports journalism in the UK is sub-standard (with a few exceptions)This is a great post.... I always think back too the 1980-1981 season when Aston Villa and Ipswich battled it out for the title. And we had the FA cup final between Spurs and City . The reporting that season was focused around these team and not Liverpool and Man United like today . Allot has changed

Think I posted too late, but there were some extremely remorseful and strong words about the coverage Raz had suffered. Liverpool affiliation by the media basically taking their lead, got really exposed and condemned.Ashton being sly,i wasn't aware of a lot of the headlines about Raz,it's his fucking paper and he looks at the papers every sunday on sky!
This is just plain wrong. City have played the last 2 games almost perfect, yes only 2 , 1-0 wins , but 15 changes created in each game
