He did. I rode past the point where the accident happened the day after, not knowing what had happened until afterwards. Seemed a weird spot for a major accident.I’ve played golf at High Legh a few times, very nice area, met Tommy Fleetwood there. I think the Villa player Jlloyd Samual died in a road accident there, documentary on his life was interesting, seems he was a bit of a lad!

Palmer asked to leave, Pep told him he would get more game time but it wasn’t enough, probably already been tapped up by then in any case. Not withstanding the extra £100k it was the right move for the player and the club was well compensatedand once again we are a victim of our own success, in our team palmer looked a reasonable to good player not going to be troubling the starting line up anytime soon but a good backup.
