Villa Park holds about 42-44 thousand. It's odd that a previous CL winner has rarely filled it.
City have consistently had bigger attendances than Aston Villa going back more than 100 years. Apart from the odd season we have performed better than them. In 1981, the last season they won the title, their average was 34,000 (with a highest crowd of 47,000) in a stadium which then held 54,000. They are the most deluded and ignorant fans in the country.

Working in Birmingham this is a point I've often made. Our average attendance was also bigger the year they won the European Cuo (yes, apparently they've won it, who knew!)

Is that the one that says this?

Declan Rice has become the joint most expensive English player ever after joining Arsenal for an initial £100m from West Ham.

Fourteen other English players have gone for initial fees of £40m or more - can you name them all?

Let's not invent issues when there are plenty of examples to be going on with elsewhere.
But the fee has been widely reported as £105m. Rice is the most expensive English player ever now. Not Grealish. So why not report it that way?
