An office bursts into song as the UEFA Champions League season approaches. From a student in the middle of class to office workers inviting their boss to a sports bar to watch the game, the UEFA "in the middle of the day in the middle of the week," there's nothing like the Champions League.

Given how much Super Bowl ads cost this is essentially millions of dollars of marketing for free. Not bad for a club with no fans :)

Am surprised that a UK journalist thinks the Champions League is now crap ?
There's only been 3 English winners in the last decade.
Real Madrid have had a monopoly in the last 10 years, winning it 5 times ?
What does Delooney want to happen ?
Surely not having the Stretford Snakes winning it ?

Haven’t won it since 2008, haven’t been in a final since 2011.
